Looks like Google Calendar and 30 boxes will have some competition…
I’m not a large plaxo fan, but my husband and many of my my colleagues do so I get loads of those ‘updating my contact info’ emails. I’m a sucker for a cool calendar app so I’ll probably check it out.
You may not know this, but Plaxo has had an online calendar for some time. Yup, we really do. As a matter of fact, we were using AJAX techniques two years ago before it was called AJAX (RSI thanks to Terry Chay and Joseph Smarr).
The Plaxo update broadcasts can be a bit annoying, but it does have some great features. My favorite is the Plaxo e-cards. I love the simple one page layout and the fact that the recipient doesn’t have to click a link to see the card. And you can upload your own photos for the cards.
But I’m too attached to Outlook to switch calendars.
I can see where you would find it attractive. Have you tried HipCal.
