Marti Wormuth

Martina “Marti” Wormuth is a 26 year old personal contractor who currently resides in south-central Pennsylvania. Marti thinks of herself as a bit of an adventurer; she likes taking risks and trying new things. Her most current adventure was going with one of her best friends on a two-week hike on the Appalachian Trail from southern Pennsylvania to Harper’s Ferry, West Virginia.

Marti is a bit of a nerd; she has a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and a Master’s in Communication Studies. Her favorite activities include reading, playing games, and hanging out with the students at her church. Marti volunteers with the youth ministry at her church as a teacher and mentor. Because of this, she recently started another degree, her graduate certificate in student ministries. Marti jokes that she’s not sure what she wants to be when “she grows up”, but that she’ll figure it out eventually. She considers her current graduate work to be a stepping stone to becoming a youth pastor or a published author.

Marti has been using social media since her freshman year of college, which happened to be the same year that Facebook became popular across college campuses. Currently, Marti blogs on several sites, edits and proofreads Master’s and Doctoral level papers, and gives budgeting and finance advice to anyone who asks. She also has helped non-profit organizations and small businesses with the creation and implementation of marketing plans.
